What is a Bodhran?

A Bodhrán is a traditional Irish drum made of a round wooden frame with a goatskin head stretched across one side. It is played with a stick called a "tipper" or a "cipín" and is a popular instrument in Irish traditional music. The Bodhrán is known for its distinctive deep, resonant sound and is often used for rhythm accompaniment in a variety of musical genres.
