Delighted Derryman in Guinness Book of Records 2009 Edition

BodhranWorld founder Kevin Kelly has now appeared in The 2009 Guinness Book of Records for staging the world’s biggest Bodhran Ensemble with 980 drummers.
The event was hailed a huge success by St Patrick's Corporate Lansdowne Lunch participants.
With 980 registered players the delighted Derry-man has the record now officially recorded.
"It's great to see it now officially recorded in the 2009 Edition. I taught the Corporate audience a basic REEL Rhythm, they truly got into the spirit of the challenge, the energy and sound in the Exhibition Centre Ballroom was truly amazing, Beat that" said Kevin.
980 Corporate guests drummed simultaneously for five minutes to capture the record.
The Derry-born musician now lives in Sydney and is regularly in Ireland performing and running team-building drumming events. Kevin has just launched his new album “Mystic Tear” now available.
This record will now appears in the latest 2009 edition of the Guinness Book Of Records, Page 105 Human Achievements -Team Efforts
